Unfortunately sometimes we have to cut some letters for time. These are the ones for “The Jolly Roger”. Sorry we ran short.

Hi Anne and Bill, well that was an Pirate and mermaid adventure all right. XD

Overall it defiantly had it’s good moments i have to say. Was loving the whole magic lessons and was proud of  Ariel and Belle.
Though seriously Regina, Emma hasn’t even have princess lessons let alone magical languages 101. Was having Indiana Jones temple of Doom and last crusades flash backs with the bridge scene. Emma Swan is not a Duckling to be pushed out of the magic nest easily.  #SuperAwesome Emma. Prob would make zelenda more nervous if she has more training but somethings definitely up as we learn later. Maybe Z’s whats to use Emma’s true love magic as a battery/jump start of some sort. Corrupting things that typically are for good is diffidently what evil/ the dark side of the force does best.
And speaking of oh dearie dear, looks like Hook’s gonna be playing the part of Judas/giving a widows kiss at some point. Hopefully someone gets the feeling (cough emma cough) that somethings not right. # the truth will set you free.
Speaking of still on Book watch, and i loved the Charming family bonding moments ^^ . David wy didn’t you take Henry over to the bean plot filed and practice there. *facepalm* david nolan influence iam betting or excited to be doing some gramps and kid bonding. Poor mailbox, XD loved the apartment and dinner bits. <3. yeah charming family bonding times.
it was rather interesting that hook’s disguise in the flashback was a knight. I’am sensing symbolism. Honor vs Pirate ways and all that.  Loved how Ariel got all assertive and Belle helping out. Zelenda is diffidently her mothers daughter that’s for certain.
Next week: it’s gonna be like halloween in April or a supernatural episode. Ghosts of seasons past. love it.
P.S. Josh and Ginny got married the other day So happy for them.
Cheers, cookies and hugs, Ash. 😀

Hi A/M & Bill –
Henry and David on a truck rampage through Storybrooke was the highlight of this episode. But again, it was a lost opportunity to include another character by having the truck crash into something of theirs (like a Miata or a Yellow VW Bug or a bicycle with a basket on it ) — but not Pongo, ’cause that would be even more angsty than Hook’s puppy eyes and we can’t have that! Maybe next week Emma can ride shotgun and with her new-found powers put that pickup right through the clock tower face.
I liked Ariel’s subplot and was grateful for her happy ending, but was again rolling my eyes at the lame way that the skill of shape-changing is used in a extremely convoluted schemea. This bothered me with Cora as well and now we’re seeing Zelena reprise it. She could just change into Henry (because Regina totally loses her focus whenever he’s in the room) and kill Regina and take all her crap. Haven’t we been told that what she wants? She could have easily murdered anyone in her way by now, including Emma, if she had just laid low and shape-changed into an appropriate assassin.
Sometimes, being a hard core gamer, really keeps me from getting into TV plots.

Hi Anne Marie and Bill,

Nice twist with Ariel. I didn’t see it coming till a second before it happened. How incredibly wicked is Zelina. She seems to have not a grain a good left in her. Her face and delivery on how she would destroy every loved one in Emma’s circle was scary.
I do have to say that I am loving Lana Parilla and how she is playing Regina. Her lines are just witty and really well delivered and how about her being included at dinner?
So what are the theories on Zelina wanting to strip Emma’s power? Is she afraid Emma is stronger than her? Or will the power be transferred to her, or maybe the baby?

It was a strong episode, which I thoroughly enjoyed.

Out of 36 flying Eric cloaks I give it 34. I am leaving off 2 because I really want Henry to be clued in. I don’t think they can keep it up too long anymore, since they already are starting to slip up in conversation.

Hey guys,

I thought that this was a good episode, I liked it but did not love it. I kinda had high expectations for this episode because Hook is one of my favorites. The episode was a nice break from all the oz craziness and I was glad to see a story that was focused on another character. Although I thought that it was a little slow in the beginning, I liked the fact that we saw something from the missing year. I also thought that Henry’s driving lesson was great and the Charming’s jealousy over Hook being the better babysitter was funny.
The twist at the end was something that I had no clue was coming, In a way  it makes me want to rematch the episode to see if there were any clues that Zelena was Ariel.
All in All out of 20 of Prince Eric’s flying cloaks I give it a 16 because like I said I liked it but I did not absolutely love.
Can’t wait to hear the Podcast,

Hey Bill and Anne Marie.
I just finished seeing this week episode, and  I enjoyed every second of it. Out of 1000 Eric’s flying cloaks I would give 900 Eric’s flying cloaks. As good as this episode was there is always room for improvement.
My favorite moment will probably be Henry learning how to drive. Since  I thought it was hilarious that this was the tactic  the Charming chose to prove they can be cool.   It really did bring back memories of when I first learned how to drive and went in a zig zag through the road instead of going straight.  Regina reaction to news was priceless.
Speaking of wish I did enjoy her trying to teach Emma, although she really need to improve her teaching method, This is just my opinion, but endangering the student’s life in the first day may not be the best idea.
I also enjoyed seeing Belle trying to help Ariel (who was the wicked witch in disguised).  I wonder if she created the potion that she used to poor on Eric’s cloak, or if it was premade.
Bill I know your a captain swan fan, and I hope you don’t take this the wrong way. Lets hope they don’t kiss or share any kind of intimacy in future. Especially if Wicked witch is going to use it to take away Emma magic.
Sincerely,

Sage of Earth.

Hey y’all,
I know it’s too late for the episode (which I am actually listening to at the moment), but I had a few thoughts that I wanted to send your way.
1) The actor cast as Regina’s “father” in the flashbacks was listed in the official episode descriptions as playing “The Woodsman”. Since in the original Oz books, the Tin Man is called by the name The Tin Woodsman, I wonder if Zelena later on turned her adoptive father into tin or something?
2) If Zelena succeeds in rewriting the past, then Baelfire will never have been killed (and possibly Peter Pan and others, too), so perhaps that’s why he died in a way that so many Swanfire fans found unsatisfying and abrupt — because the writers never intended it to last in the first place.
3) The reason she wants Snow’s baby is obvious. It’s clearly because Snow is going to have triplets, who are somehow going to become genies, so that she can use them to change the laws of magic and go back in time. Why else?
4) I’ve heard that we’re going to have an episode this season covering the time when Snow’s mother was still alive (this probably will be where we find out when Cora gave birth to and got rid of Zelena). If this is true, then that means maybe Johanna will be back, and we’ll finally get the full revelation of her hidden villainous role…
Take care!
